The club offers excellent ways to meet new people from social tennis, tennis ladders, leagues and even our own club championships.
Social tennis
Wednesdays @ 10.00 a.m. and Sundays @ 11.00 a.m. These groups are great for our new members to meet other members, all standards are welcome, and the coffee and chats are just as important as any tennis played. It’s only €1 to cover tennis balls, coffee and some treats. Once you are a member, send your number to Hilary and you’ll be added to the whatsapp group.

Singles ladders
Ladies singles ladder for those interested in singles games, log in to court booking and find the link to the ladder on the left (scroll down). Open tournaments
Keep an eye on the ‘entry open’ tab on tournament software for open competitions that you can enter. Make sure you have registered for a Tennis Ireland number (very easy to do)
Munster tennis
Munster tennis run leagues throughout the year for interested club members, for example the Winter League (graded entry), Summer Cup (graded entry) and the North West league.
Club Championships
This is run annually, usually in the first 2 weeks of September and is open to all members of Ennis Tennis Club. It is a very enjoyable as well as competitive
championship.
Ennis Tennis Mixed Doubles Senior Open
We are reviving this competition this year after a break due to covid where local club members can enjoy a competitive and friendly Open with members of our neighbouring clubs

Junior Tennis
Ennis Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club has an active and vibrant Junior Tennis section. With over 150 Junior members and a committed Junior Tennis Committee the club covers all age groups from 3 to 18 years old. There are coaching sessions every Thursday and Saturday with our experienced coaches, squad sessions for our u12 and u14 juniors every Sunday and a new initiative ‘Tots Tennis’ every Tuesday for 3-5 year olds.
2022 was a very successful year for Junior Tennis, the highlights which include winning the U18 Midwest Cup, 2 visits from former ATP player and Maestro Italian coach Laerte DiFalco who spent almost 3 weeks at the club, our week long junior championship, our Christmas Party and participating in this years Ennis St Patrick’s Day parade to name but a few.
This year the club are involved in an exciting new Tennis Ireland development programme involving 16 clubs rolling out across Munster in September aimed at u8/9/10 year olds.
